Trivia: In the spring of 1982 we decided to try and record a cassette ourselves to sell. Mike owned a Teac 2340 which was a 4 track 7 1/2” reel-to-reel recorder. 4 tracks gave us the ability for each guy to have his own track allowing us to mix the blend later. We worked on it in Mike’s living room for several practice sessions using the new mics we had just bought for our PA system the previous November. Mike mixed it down to mono through the Peavey PA system board we owned. We searched for a way to have it duplicated and labled settling on Ron Rose Productions in Southfield Mi to do the work. Jan Coe and Diane Corder were dispatched to take the master to Southfield and have it duplicated while they waited. It would be over a year later before we would record our first “professional” album, “Amazing Grace, The Sweetest Song I Know”, at Crusade Studios in Flora Illinois. Most of these songs we would go on to record again on later albums, but for some, their days in the history with us ends here.
